Whether it's inside a screen or if it's outside my screen door, everyone is listening to everyone repeat what they heard once and accepted as a fact - that's just the way it is. So let's measure ourselves against our friends we don't know.

We don't know what they're truly thinking, only what they tell us. Which is filtered through a lens of performative insecurity.

I don't mind if it looks like I'm resigned, because everything is culturally defined. If only I could find that I'm not one of a kind.

Ghosts don't haunt me; they just stop and say hello. It's not that I don't have emotions; I just have a high tolerance for pain. I'm not afraid of commitment; I'm afraid of compromise.
